Marc joined Alpha Cine in 2001 when the digital film services were first developed. He left in 2003, and returned in 2004 as Director of the Department. Marc is responsible for all technical aspects of digital film services including transferring digital images to motion picture film, developing specialized look up tables for the Arri Laser film recorder, and putting together the various systems necessary to make certain that every possible bit of information is derived fro the digital images when they are transferred to the much higher resolution 35mm film.

Prior to joining Alpha Cine Labs Marc was a key member of the 3-person R&D Department at Loudeye Technologies. At Loudeye Marc was responsible for helping to develop a variety of specialized video and audio compression techniques for the leading Internet media delivery company. Marc utilized skills leaned in 10 years of video postproduction experience to significantly improve the quality of compressed video served over the Internet. Marc also evaluated new technology for the company.
